MakeReservation – Going Backward?

The MakeReservation method allows you to Make and Change reservations.  The available types are Quote Only, Soft Reservation, Hard Reservation and Rent Now, IN THAT ORDER.  Why is the order important?  You can upgrade but never downgrade a reservation.  In other words if you start the process doing a Hard Reservation and you wish to change it, your only option is to upgrade it to a Rent Now (move in).  Attempting to downgrade it to a Quote or Soft Reservation will put everything in an unstable state which will need to be corrected manually.  Keep the data useful and do not downgrade a reservation/quote.
